“Defiance, not obedience, is the American’s answer to overbearing authority." –Ayn Rand, in her 1971 essay, “Don’t Let It Go,” in Philosophy: Who Needs It (The Ayn Rand Library Vol. 1) “Don’t Let It Go” started as a blog (https://dontletitgo.com) ten years ago, with the purpose of defying overbearing authority while talking about things I value. It soon became a podcast and, more recently, a show on YouTube. Join me here on Locals for discussion of events and ideas relevant to maintaining and fostering the spirit of individualism, both in the culture generally, and in ourselves individually.
